The Aebi VT450 Vario with more power and a new operating concept

The new VM Turbodiesel fulfills Euro 6 and works not only very cleanly and in a very fuel-saving fashion, but is more powerful and has a significantly higher torque. This increase in performance and the modernised control concept, with a new multi-functional accelerator lever and a new colour display, make the Aebi VT450 Vario with the brilliant continuous traction drive even better than ever before.

The new VM Turbodiesel fulfills Euro 6 and performs a strong 80 kW (109 hp) at 2600 1/min. The maximum torque amounts to 420 Nm and is in the range of 1,100 – 1,400 1/min. The torque increase reaches 40%. These excellent key data raise the driving performance of the Aebi VT450 Vario significantly again, with consumption tending to be lower. The turbodiesel engine is equipped with a diesel particle filter and SCR (selective catalytic reduction). The exhaust gas recirculation and SCR processes are electronically coordinated and monitored on a continuous basis. This ensures optimal emission control. AdBlue is used for the exhaust aftertreatment. However, the additional costs for this liquid (approximately 5% of fuel consumption) are compensated for by the lower diesel consumption.

The ergonomically formed, multi-functional, colour-coded accelerator lever allows simple and logical control of the most important functions. This also offers greater safety, since the traction command and the simultaneous control of a device function come from one source. The colour display now has a control knob and several control keys via which the functions can be controlled. The menu structure is plainly designed for quick, logical and simple control. The high-resolution colour display shows all chosen function displays and data clearly and in high quality. An additional control knob for controlling the display is optionally available to the immediate right beside the driver's seat.

The renovation package raises the practical benefit markedly. The clean motorisation fulfills the specifications of the "emissions sticker", which also permits travel in Germany's city centres. Due to the quick device change system, the Aebi VT450 Vario can be deployed in a wide variety of ways. The continuous traction drive is outstandingly suited to attachments, which are operated with low driving speed. Since an additional creep speed gear is not required, high additional costs are not incurred. In addition, the force flow is never interrupted, which raises driving safety significantly in all situations. And the modern chassis frame with four types of steering and hydro-pneumatic full suspension makes the Aebi VT450 Vario hugely manoeuvrable and offers excellent suspension quality.

Whether in agriculture, in hilly or mountainous areas or in diverse municipal work – the Aebi VT450 Vario offers outstanding driving and operating comfort.

The Aebi VT450 Vario with a clean 109 hp turbodiesel celebrates its première at the Agritechnica 2013 in Hanover.

The Aebi CC56 with 2-cylinder engine

The Aebi CC56 with a stronger 2-cylinder engine comes onto the market as an additional variant. The engine runs calmly and with low vibration and the increase in power raises the working scope of the attachments.

The CC56 variant with a 2-cylinder Basco Vanguard engine performs a strong 11.9 kW / 16 hp. The smooth running and the reduced vibrations at the steering wheel significantly increase the comfort for the driver. Difficult work with the mulcher or the snowblower is accomplished with aplomb. In addition, minimum exterior widths of 919 mm are possible with terra or turf tyres and even minimum exterior widths of only 800 mm are possible with tractor tyres. Thus, bottlenecks are passed through quickly and even small pieces of equipment can be used without the unworked surface being driven over.

Otherwise with the same structure, both Aebi CC56s offer two standard possible active steering options via stringers and upper links or via the lever control at the handles. The continuous hydrostatic traction drive is finely controlled by a press of the thumb and the working speed can be adapted exactly to the respective conditions. The Aebi quick-fit connector system takes on a large number of different attachments quickly and easily.

Whether summer or winter work, the Aebi CC56 can be used in polyvalent fashion year round. This significantly increases the load factor and cost-effective operation can be raised markedly.

The Aebi CC56 with a 2-cylinder engine is being presented for the first time at the Agritechnica 2013 in Hanover, Germany and the Agrialp 2013 in Bozen, Italy.
